Title: The Digital Revolution for Our Productivity Crisis

Description:

Session Code: EM13

It's 2023, and we're well into the digital age, which has benefitted almost every industry in the global economy by boosting productivity, except construction. We were more productive per labor hour worked 30 years ago than we are today in the construction industry, which is a staggering fact. Equipment downtime is a major contributor to this productivity crisis, with contractors reporting that three to five hours a day are spent on manual, repetitive communications tasks. This lack of digitization makes parts procurement for fleet maintenance a painful, fractured process. The good news? All of this pain is blowing the door wide open for construction to finally usher in its own digital revolution that will transform fleet management and maintenance.

This session will cover:
-How contractors and fleet managers need to be thinking differently about the costs of downtime
-Why this digital revolution in fleet management is necessary to combat the labor, equipment, and parts shortages
-How digitization can develop true uptime partnerships within the Equipment Triangle
-How tech will drive a proactive approach to fleet maintenance that will serve you better

Type: CONEXPO-CON/AGG
