Session Code: CO3 In this session, participants will learn about real-life problems caused by inadequacies in design, construction, and maintenance practices. Based on various problems, participants will learn how to come up with suitable solutions to existing problems, and preventative measures for future placements. Attendees will understand how to survey concrete in the field and they will learn how poor construction practices lead to concrete defects. The session will also cover how construction materials affect concrete performance and discover practical solutions to correct existing problems.
