Title: OSHA's Top Ten in Construction/Focus Four
Description:
Session Code: SH14 This presentation will detail OSHA's initiatives to protect workers through enforcement and cooperative programs. OSHA's Top Ten in Construction are of value to employers who may or may not know the top emphasis programs of the agency. The presentation will also focus on our role in ensuring good, safe jobs with the infrastructure expenditures appropriated through Congress. In addition, the presentation will identify OSHA's Focus Four program which centers on the leading causative factors of fatalities in the construction industry: Falls, Struck-by, Electrocution, and Caught in/Between Hazards with these hazards accounting for over 50% of all fatalities in the construction industry.
