Session Code: BP25 Contractual risk transfer and insurance management are critical aspects of any successful risk management program. This session is designed primarily for contractors who regularly subcontract work and/or engage lower-tier service providers. The discussion will focus on critical issues to consider in properly managing the downstream transfer of risk through indemnification, insurance, and associated risk transfer language contained in subcontracts, trucking, and vendor agreements. Examples of common failures will also be illustrated.
