Hassan Tabatabaee Ph.D

Dr. Hassan Tabatabaee is the Global Technical Manager for Asphalt Solutions at Cargill, a producer of specialty chemicals for asphalt applications worldwide. He has a PhD degree in Pavement Materials from the University of Wisconsin Madison, and MS and BS degrees in Civil Engineering from Sharif University. His patents and publications have commonly focused on the topic of sustainable asphalt performance additives and characterization.
Over the past 15 years Dr. Tabatabaee has led and contributed to various ASTM and AASHTO standard specification committees on Recycling Agents and asphalt analytical methods. He is currently serving as Principal Investigator and co-PI on nationally funded research projects on Cold-in-Place Recycling, and on developing specification for asphalt compatibility.
