Clay Albright

Vice President/Owner at Caldwell Stone Co, Inc.

Clay Albright is a third-generation owner of Caldwell Stone Co., a family-owned and operated quarry in central Kentucky. In his role as Vice President/Owner, Clay oversees daily production, sales, and as a small producer, so much more – an average day could have him doing anything from running the scale house and processing payroll to handling safety inspections or teaching school kids about working in aggregates at their career day.

Clay believes that building a strong professional network and investing in relationships is crucial to success within the aggregates industry. As such, Clay actively represents his company and his industry in his local community, state association and national association. He serves on the board of directors of the Kentucky Crushed Stone Association and is the chair of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s Small Producers Committee. Clay has been an active member of NSSGA’s Young Leaders group since 2009 and is that group’s 2023-2024 chairman.

Clay holds a B.A. in Business Management from the University of Kentucky and resides in Danville, KY with his wife, Megan, and three children.
