Elizabeth Garza has been with CDC/NIOSH since 2009 as a Public Health Advisor. She began working with the Office of Construction Safety and Health in 2012. She serves as the NIOSH Construction Program Coordinator, providing programmatic assistance in support of the NORA Construction Sector Council. During her session she'll be covering the OSHA-NIOSH-CPWR National Campaign to Prevent Falls in Construction including the National Stand-Down and would love to hear new ideas to further our national/international reach. Her degrees include a B.S. in Biology & International Relations from the College of William & Mary as well as a Master in Public Health (MPH) from George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. She also holds the Certified in Public Health (CPH) credential.
