Jeff Vincent is Executive Director of the International Union of Operating Engineers National Training Fund (NTF), a Taft-Hartley trust that coordinates all International-level craft training initiatives. He joined the NTF in 2006 and works with local union training and apprenticeship programs to promote consistency in skill standards across the IUOE. Mr. Vincent oversees several key areas within the larger network of IUOE local training including: • comprehensive training for local union instructors • curriculum and materials development • credentialing programs • direct training for journeyworkers and apprentices • pre-apprenticeship training through the NTF’s Job Corps Program. Prior to his IUOE service, Mr. Vincent worked at Indiana University managing labor policy research projects in cooperation with a wide variety of labor and community organizations. His teaching background includes labor history for apprentices, organizing and the history of workers’ education. Mr. Vincent holds a BS in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an MS in Industrial Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
