EJ Herron

Eric (EJ) Herron has been fascinated with earthmoving equipment since he was a kid and growing up in a small town near the headquarters of heavy equipment giant, Caterpillar, Inc. Early in his career, he worked at Caterpillar, Inc. in engineering, designing wire routings and structures for operator stations.

Wanting more hands on experience, he started E.J. Herron Excavating Company and developed operating skills and learned about moving dirt and utility work for over 11 years.

He later returned to Caterpillar, Inc. and last worked there as a Global Marketing Consultant for technology to help drive future technology growth and adoption.

His current role is with SITECH South as a Regional Sales Manager to promote Trimble equipment and provide construction technology solutions.

He has been awarded the Construction Equipment Under 40, Class of 2014
Business of the Year of 2005 and Member of the Year of 2009 by the Chillicothe, IL Chamber of Commerce. Most recently he is a board member with Crew Collaborative.
