Mary Katherine Harbin

Mary Katherine is Vice President of the Foothills Division for Maymead, Inc., a leader in asphalt and aggregate production in Western NC and Northeast TN. In her 16 years with the company, she has found a passion for workforce development—specifically working to develop the role of women in the asphalt industry. Most notably, she started an all-women’s paving crew to help attract women into the construction trades. She prefers to share candidly from her experiences, and enjoys the community dynamic that a panel session creates.
