Katie Kelleher

After a number of years working within sales and working as a recruitment consultant Katie Kelleher had a change of career in 2014 and started on the Lifting Technician Apprenticeship with Select Plant Hire.

Katie is working hard using a strong social media presence to change the face of construction by openly encouraging more apprentices and women into the field and to challenge the industry to make necessary inclusive changes. Katie has won various awards, started a podcast and appeared on the TV show Impossible Engineering.

Katie has worked as a crane operator on large London projects such a Crossrail and Tideway.
