Lionel Lemay is CEO and founder of ConcreteNexus LLC. He is an accomplished leader in engineering and sustainability with a proven track record of building strong teams and programs that drive growth in the building products industry. Lemay is a passionate professional with expertise spanning engineering, education, certifications, business development, and research, all centered on advancing sustainability. ConcreteNexus LLC focuses on green building and sustainability and represents building product companies in building codes and standards.

Before founding his own consulting firm, Lemay was Executive Vice President at the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association for 21 years, Managing Director at the Portland Cement Association for 10 years and Director of Engineering with Hansen Lind Meyer for seven years. Lemay is a Registered Professional Engineer and Structural Engineer in the State of Illinois. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional and serves on committees of the American Concrete Institute and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Lemay holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering and applied mechanics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
