Vivin Hegde

Vivin Hegde is the Founding and Managing Partner of Zacua Ventures, a leading global venture platform focused exclusively on AI, robotics, and industrial technologies transforming the built environment. Through Zacua, Vivin partners closely with founders, contractors, owners, OEMs, and strategic investors to scale category-defining companies across construction, infrastructure, and adjacent industrial sectors.

Vivin serves on the boards and advisory boards of multiple high-growth construction technology companies and works hands-on with leadership teams from early commercialization through global expansion. He is a trusted advisor to major industry players navigating innovation, automation, and digital transformation in one of the world’s largest and most complex sectors.

Previously, Vivin held senior leadership roles at Hilti, where he launched Hilti’s North American corporate venture arm and co-led the Hilti–Trimble joint venture focused on robotics, IoT, and advanced jobsite technologies. He began his career at McKinsey & Company, advising global industrial leaders on growth and operational strategy. Vivin holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from NITK Surathkal and an MBA from IIM Calcutta.
