Kristina McMillan is a business development executive with a bold marketing backbone—and over two decades of real-world experience in the AEC industry. Currently leading business development for Ironmark Building Company, she specializes in forging strategic relationships, uncovering new market opportunities, and positioning brands to win work before the RFP ever hits.

With a background that spans construction, manufacturing, and workforce development, Kristina knows how to turn credibility into connection—and connection into contracts. She built her reputation by blending storytelling with strategy, helping companies stand out in crowded markets and scale with intention.

As the founder of Crew Collaborative, she took a grassroots idea and built a nationally recognized nonprofit that changed how the trades talk about careers. Her approach is equal parts heart and horsepower: sharp messaging, genuine visibility, and relentless execution.

Outside of work, Kristina is a single mom of two, a college instructor, and an unapologetic garden nerd. She’s equally at home in a hard hat or coaching basketball for her kids—proof that leadership doesn't have to look one way to make an impact. She is engaged to Josh Meinnert (also in construction) and they plan to merge households soon to create a family of seven.
